Dr. Kizito Ogedi Alakwe is a development communication strategist, researcher, and advisor with extensive experience across academia, consulting, and public service. His work focuses on leveraging communication, knowledge systems, and innovation to drive inclusive development across Africa.

Dr. Alakwe holds a PhD and MSc in Media and Communication from Pan-Atlantic University (and is the first doctoral graduate of the institution), alongside an MBA and PGD in Marketing from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

He has published over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and is a co-editor of Nigeria's Cultural and Creative Industries: Perspectives, Problems, and Prospects (Routledge), described by the publisher as the first of its kind in Africa.

A Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) and member of ARCON, IABC, and NUSA, he is a mentor, public speaker, & community development advocate. He is passionate about aligning communication research with real-world change, with a deep interest in Africa's creative economy, knowledge systems, and development futures.

Dr. Alakwe leads insight-driven, people-centred projects in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, CSR impact assessment, and social research. He consults for clients in government, private industry, and the development sector, including World Bank-funded projects and high-stakes public sector reforms.

He also serves as an adjunct faculty at the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, where he teaches and supervises postgraduate research in media literacy, advanced communication research methods, and development communication. He is also the Principal Advisor at Quardott Consulting.

MICHAEL IKPOKI is an accomplished multinational business leader, executive adviser, board chairman, and member with proven experience in successfully managing and growing telecom/ICT/consumer businesses in some of the largest economies in Africa.

A lawyer by training, with over twenty five (25) years experience in the fast-moving and highly competitive African Telecom Industry. As a business executive and corporate leader, he spent fourteen (14) years in the MTN Group. Key roles held include: General Manager (Regulatory Affairs/Sales & Distribution), Sales & Distribution Executive (Sales Director) in MTN Nigeria, Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana and Chief Executive Officer of MTN Nigeria.

He founded and has been Managing Partner of Africa Context Advisory Partners since 2016, driven by his passion to adapt his experience towards advising leaders, investors and businesses seeking to acquire, establish, run and oversee growth businesses in ICT and other consumer spaces across Africa.

His management and leadership experience has endeared him to Boards of several Nigerian/African companies in ICT, Fintech/Payments, and consumer goods and services industries. He is a Board Adviser to Telecel Group, an African telecommunications service provider.

He sits on the Boards of Emerging Markets Telecommunication Services Limited (EMTS, formerly 9Mobile) now trading as T2 in Nigeria, and Unilever Nigeria PLC (the Nigerian subsidiary of a global FMCG Group).

He is Chairman of the Boards of Onafriq Nigeria Payments Limited (African Payments & Remittances Company), which is the largest Pan-African Digital Payments hub; Amplitude Telecoms Africa Limited (Telecoms Tower & Infrastructure Provider); and Arnergy Solar Limited (leading renewable energy provider owned by Cardinal Stone Capital Advisers, a Bill Gates-founded Breakthrough Energy, Norfund, British Investment International and Shell's All On).

As an executive advisor, he is engaged by aspiring and existing CEOs for leadership mentoring, and has now created the Africa Context CEO Mentoring Experience™ service, which is a curated service and platform for mentoring CEOs in Africa. He actively speaks to Executive leadership teams, Investor Groups, Boards and select audiences on "Doing Business in Africa and Business leadership".

Uade Ahimie stands as a prominent authority in Africa's drive toward sustainable business practices, corporate governance, and responsible enterprise. With more than three decades of rich experience spanning finance, energy, digital media, and consulting, Ahimie demonstrates deep expertise and unwavering dedication to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.

A chartered accountant and thought leader, he authored CRAPI-FART – Perspective for an Emerging Market, where he shares keen insights into the complexities and opportunities surrounding African business. Ahimie's career features pivotal roles in Nigeria's energy sector—particularly with Sahara Group, where he built core frameworks for internal audit, risk management, ESG and compliance. As Acting Managing Director of Sahara Bulk Storage Facilities Limited, he guided the company through critical operational transitions, overseeing logistics and warehousing.

Notably, he pioneered Sahara Group's inaugural sustainability report in 2015 and replicated this milestone at Ikeja Electric and Egbin Power Plc., setting industry benchmarks for responsible business within Nigeria's power sector. His impact now extends to digital media and fintech as a board advisor with Financial Services Innovators (FSI), nurturing Nigeria's growing fintech ecosystem. Through his consulting firm, Accounting Lab Limited, Ahimie advises Egbin Power Plc. on sustainability reporting and content strategy.

Beyond boardrooms, Ahimie is a respected economic and political analyst featured on Arise TV, News Central TV, and multiple radio platforms. He is also dedicated to developing future leaders, mentoring young analysts at Nairametrics and teaching as Business Masters Class faculty.

Currently, Uade Ahimie is the Head of Strategy and Public Affairs on the Nairametrics Editorial Board.
